Success Stories:

Problems Faced by the Common Man

Corruption has emerged as a major issue for the people of Pakistan. Officials across various sectors, including government, judiciary, law enforcement agencies, and public service institutions, act as shields for criminals. Whether powerful individuals in the community are seizing property, committing fraud, demanding extortion from businesses, or burdening the public with unjust bills, the common man feels helpless and desperate. They lack access to institutions that can provide justice and uphold their rights without bias.

Committee's Objectives

The Anti-Corruption Anti-Crime Forum Pakistan aims to establish anti-corruption monitoring committees at the union council level to address the challenges faced by the common man. These committees will work towards leading the local community, organizing public welfare activities, raising awareness, and collecting charitable funds from residents to help the oppressed. They will also facilitate legal assistance, engage with authorities, coordinate relief efforts, and ensure security measures.

Eligibility for Membership

Each Union Council’s Anti-Corruption Monitoring Committee comprises 13 office bearers, multiple members, and a special seat reserved for women. Committee members are expected to be patriotic, capable individuals willing to contribute to charitable initiatives. The committee officials must be local residents with reliable, positive character, a good reputation, a track record of spending on welfare works, and capable of leading and representing the community effectively.
